Drawing inspiration from her Lemba heritage—a community known for its rich traditions and craftsmanship—she set out to reclaim and reimagine African jewelry design. With a deep-rooted passion for natural diamonds, gold, and the stories they carry, Bernice established House of Lemba in 2021 to bridge the past and the present through bespoke, handcrafted pieces.

Our collections are a tribute to Africa’s diverse cultures, blending traditional motifs with contemporary elegance. Each piece is meticulously designed and crafted in Johannesburg, South Africa, using ethically sourced materials and time-honored techniques.
